Bluetooth COM Port Selection

To get PC connected to the phone, COM port has to be configured in "Settings" tab of the Mobiola^TM Web Camera application.

Important note: You will be able to establish connection if one of the items in the COM port drop-down list, which looks like "COMx (Bluetooth)", is selected.

If the COM port you have selected is currently used by any other application on your PC, or it is not used by the Bluetooth software, then "Not Ready " message in "Video" tab of the application window will be displayed.

Check your Status bar: in this case "Status" cell also will be displaying "Not Ready " status and WebCam tray icon will be crossed by the red line:

If you will observe simptoms like this you have to select another port from the drop-down list in the "Settings" tab.

If correct COM port was selected then you should have status "Ready" in status bar and inside the video caption window:

Make sure that in this case "Status" cell displays the "Ready" status and WebCam tray icon is not crossed with the red line:

Otherwise, you have to select another port from the drop-down list.
If you have this status "Ready" in the Status bar and in the video caption window,
then you are ready to proceed with connection from the phone application

If Bluetooth Serial Port is enabled, it links with a COM port and you will have word "Bluetooth" next to this COM port number in the drop-down list:

Select this COM port.

If there is no "COMx (Bluetooth)" item in the drop-down list, please follow the instructions on Bluetooth COM Port Configuration page.
